How did Christ, being the Son of God, become man?
Christ, the Son of God, became man, by taking to himself a true body, and a reasonable soul, being conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost, in the womb of the Virgin Mary, and born of her, yet without sin.

Mary and Joseph were obedient to God’s law. When Jesus was eight days old, they circumcised Him and gave Him the name Jesus, just as God's angel had told both Mary (Like 1:31) and Joseph (Matt 1:21) to do. They also took Him to the temple and offered the sacrifice that poor families gave. Their obedience showed how much they loved and trusted God. So should our obedience.
About 40 days after Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph took Him to the temple in Jerusalem to fulfil the purification rites and sacrifice required by the law. Two older, godly saints met Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus in the temple.
One was a man named Simeon. For many years, he had been waiting for God to send the promised Messiah, the One who would bring comfort and hope to God's people. When Simeon saw baby Jesus, he knew that God's promise had finally come true. Having seen the Messiah with his old eyes, Simeon was content to die in peace, knowing that the Prince of Peace had come.
The other person was Anna, an elderly woman who faithfully worshiped God. When she saw Jesus, she thanked God and told others the wonderful news. She shared with everyone who was waiting for God to rescue His people that the promised Redeemer had arrived and lay in Mary’s arms.
