The book of Hebrews shows us how amazing Jesus is. The writer uses verses from Psalms, Samuel, Chronicles, and Isaiah to show that the whole Bible points to Jesus. Jesus is the King who will reign forever. He always rules with perfect goodness and justice.

Psalm 110 tells us that God the Father invited Jesus, God the Son, to sit at His right hand until all His enemies are defeated. Jesus took this place after He gave His life as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Because He had finished the sacrificial part of His priestly work, He sat down at God's right hand to reign forever.

Jesus is both a King and a Priest. In the Old Testament, there was a man named Melchizedek who was also both a king and a priest. His name means "king of righteousness," and he was called the "king of peace." Melchizedek helps us understand what Jesus is like.

But Jesus is far greater than Melchizedek. Jesus is the perfect King of righteousness and peace, and He is the perfect Priest who brings us to God.

The most important question is this: Is Jesus your Priest and your King?
